Same here anta.My tod is too small, and I ordered one card
Now I'm ashamed that someone else could get this card. If any of you missed this offer and will DEFINITELY use this card, PM me please :beer:
I applied for one on behalf of my neighbour and her children before asking her if she'd use it - was just trying to do a good turn.
Received the card - and neighbour said she won't be able to make use of it. ( I know, I should have asked first
)
Can't let it go to waste. PM me also, if you really want it.
EDIT
sorry people it's gone now:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing0 -

hi
I know a long shot, but wondering if anyone has one of these that they will not use and could forward to me , as i missed out and need to trave lby train shortly.
would be very greatfull if anyone has one spare
thanks0 -
you can still use the card with younger children - the only thing is you will have to buy a ticket for that child (whereas under-5s are normally free). this is not so bad, as it always works out cheaper for the adults to buy one extra child ticket (which is 1/6th of the price of an adult ticket with the card) than a full priced adult ticket!, as you're paying 1/6th but saving 1/3rd...
e.g standard £24 fare (one adult and one child under 5 travelling free)
with railcard this would be £16 for the adult and £4 for the child = £20 total for both...
from the t&c's for the family railcard:
Don't forget children under five travel free and each adult may take up to two 'under fives' with them. If the only child in the Family Railcard group is aged less than five years of age, the Railcard holder must purchase a discounted ticket for that child in order for the accompanying adult(s) to qualify for the discount on their tickets.
When 2nd son was under 5,i purchased a frc and bought 1 adult 1 child ticket when traveling.It still saved me more money to do this than if i was to purchase 1 adult ticket without the fam rail card.I got my free pass from this site,after closing date,and its the only thing ive ever been given for free.May it continue,and i will make sure i use it.0 -
I've got one of these spare thats unused and has until the end of June to run.
