:hello: Wow I'm really impressed by your purchases. Was this in our local Luton branch that you managed the two MF GWP and if so what till did you go to?
I went into town this morning and went into Boots on my way out of town and was already loaded down with bags (including 5 for £4.00 easter eggs in Tesco!!) so forgot to look at my list with all my 'intended' purchases which I compiled from all your tips on here and only remembered the sandwich (with the £3.00 off No7 mens) and the S & G Clean of England using both the 200 points from the APCM machine and 200 points from the mag which I was relieved both worked at the Photo till upstairs along with some 'clearance' fabric plasters for my 17 year old DD who goes through packets of them every time she buys a new pair of shoes (about every two weeks at the moment!!). I only just remembered the 'free' replacement mascara you reminded me of on my way out of Boots cause my 13 year old DD had given me an old Colour Institute one for her to swap (I hardly wear make-up) and I looked for the Estee Lauder SA and couldn't see one so asked the Elizabeth Arden SA who said she was on lunch and gave me the sample anyway without taking my DD's cheapy one. My DD was pleased with it - although I'm kicking myself now that I didn't look for the MF GWP -did they have loads of them?
Not Luton Hun but Bletchley
Did you get served by "The adonis" on the photo counter?
Glad you remembered the mascara offer:T
The ACM at Bletchley didn't give me any vouchers for S&G I was most disappointed and I also forgot to pick up my JF serum because I was too busy watching the SA who was stalking the MF counter!:rotfl:Proud to be dealing with my debts Sealed pot challenge 180 £2 coins £184 2008 £1 a day challenge£100+ Nectar 4809/Boots 1724 Focus for 2008 Clear £1777.00 CC, [strike]£1000 [/strike]overdraft Holiday [strike]£525[/strike]:j CC recovery£976 NO SMOKING WK7 £2100 -
Good news today,
From my shopping last week, when I checked my receipt it showed 4 mens products, I only bought 3. I called CS and told him what happened with the prob with till not taking coupons etc he said we are aware of that. He said how far do you live away from that store. I said 25mins:o (lie), he said I will put on 750 points for you next time you are in store they will be on your card...Yippeeeee.
This is the best place ever.
As a wee ad-lib I forgot to mention that When I bought the 3 mens products I used Gwp 250points, 100 point from H&B mag and £3.00 sarney coupons... on all 3..... emmmmmmmm maybe this is why the till beeped... Oh I am naughty:p0 -

Its not fair! DH & I went to Ikea in Bletchley on Friday - tried to get him to take me to Boots but he wouldn't have any of it as we had a 125 mile journey home. Can't believe I missed those MF sets!. Im going to cry & sulk now.............. My local boots doesn't have any of them nor did Norwich last week.
Oh No he should have let you pop in, it's not a big store although it looks quite big from the outside, there was about 20 just sitting there above the MF counter, I spotted them the minute I walked in. You could easily spend a day in Bletchley if you enjoy shopping what with Boots, next clearance, ikea and a huge asda! There is a TK Maxx too but I never venture in thereProud to be dealing with my debts Sealed pot challenge 180 £2 coins £184 2008 £1 a day challenge£100+ Nectar 4809/Boots 1724 Focus for 2008 Clear £1777.00 CC, [strike]£1000 [/strike]overdraft Holiday [strike]£525[/strike]:j CC recovery£976 NO SMOKING WK7 £2100 -

Thanks - have you seen any MF GWP in Luton then?
Not seen this 'adonis' yet though - they were all women upstairs!! I must look out for him next time I'm in town (I will drag my 3 DD's in there cause they break up for easter this week to have a look too!!!):rotfl:
Sorry but could you answer a quick question for me - I'm sure the answer must be on here but I want to make sure.
My shopping came to £7.49 today and I used my two 200 points coupons for the S & G. As I have enough points on my card could I have used my points instead of cash for these purchases and still give them/use my points coupons to get more points back or can you only do this on cash purchases. Sorry and TIA.0 -
