Understand pity it wasn't one of the other options.

Was wasn't it? ;) It was kind of ironic as I was trying to redeem points and they gave me them back! ...lol - albeit indirectly :)

Hi, Not been on here for a while, hope your all well??
I have a question about the boots scar stuff, I know that offer has probably stopped now, but i need some for my little boy.
Could someone please tell me where abouts this is in the shops? I did have a look about yesterday but couldn't find any.
My little boy fell of the climbing frame at school, and had to have his forehead glued together just under a year ago..OUCH!
He's only 6, but is a bit funny about the scar...I have told him he looks like Harry Potter with it, but would rather be like Dobby!!
For those of you that have it, would it be ok to use on this type of scar, and would it be ok to use on a 6yr old?
    TIA
    Charlie Xx
Charlie, it's part of the Boots Expert range, you should find it with the Expert skincare. It's going through the tills at £3.99 even though the SEL says £5.99, there's also a voucher in the magazine for 100 points when you buy any Expert product. It's a serum though the SEL says Expert Scar Care Cream.
It's ok to use on healed scars but not wounds that aren't fully healed, I don't see why you shouldn't use it on a childs skin but it's always best to check with the doc or HV first.

I think it's still a policy change, cos I've been told in the past that no additional points offers OF ANY SORT MADAM are valid when you pay with points. And as you have to start by telling then you want to redeem points, I assumed the till 'knew'. There's my mistake - expecting reason and sense in Boots!

I spent just over £60 and got gift sets of
    Issey Miyake (usually £42)

Jean Paul Gaultier classique (usually £42) http://www.boots.com/onlineexperience/flexible_template_2006.jsp?Ne=2+8&Ntt=1044615&Ntk=P_ClassificationID&N=0&classificationid=1044615&N=4294966956,,

DKNY Delicious Night (usually £37) http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1092806&classificationid=1044615&slmRefer=,

    YSL Kouros (usually £35) and

Joop pour homme (usually arounf £25).

I'm quite pleased with myself. I'd have got more but I couldn't really carry it lol.

Well done Orlaith:T I'm really pleased for you:D I remember you once said you don't usually get a chance to grab any sale bargains during the big sales, cos you're not allowed to leave your till, so it's good to hear you got your share of the bargains this time:j By the way, Issey Miyake and Jean Paul Gaultier classique are my fave perfumes:D

discount diva, I'm waiting to hear about your trip to Luton branch:D Did you buy much? I popped in about 1 hour ago. I was hoping they had put out more stuff on clearance shelf, but nothing new to buy.

I can't understand that wendym, but points and policies are still new to me.

The first time I noticed it was last week (think I might have mentioned it in the old thread), but I was redeeming some points on some FCUK I'd bought. I didn't even realise there was any offers on, as the item was on clearance anyway - but the till still gave me a **link saving** of approx 54 points on that 160 (£1.60) points redemption item.

.......there's also a voucher in the magazine for 100 points when you buy any Expert product........
Just wondered: has anyone used this recently without the till beeping ? Or are the SAs still saying it's only valid on hairloss stuff ? Many thanks ! (Soz if this has been covered in last day or 2 but I've lost track of a few pages here and there).:o

Every time I use it the till beeps. I point out to the cashier that it says it's for any Expert product and that it always beeps and the points get added on manually. This usually works, though last time I tried a line had formed behind me and the cashier said it would take awhile to get someone to come add the points as it was break time, so I said I'd just leave it.

FYI, there are some Boots Expert Razors with three blades (a four pack of razors) that are on sale for 2.71 and you can use the 100 points on this (if the SA will do it, of course!). These razors are great and I'd love to buy a bunch, but don't know if I can do two in one transaction using two coupons?

The Boots Expert exfoliating mitts are only £1.25 if you want a good bargain with the 100 points mag voucher. I use the mitts on my legs and they get rid of the hair too as well as making skin lovely and smooth. Really want to find some more mags now to buy some more.

And yes, till beeped for me too. The manager said she was going to ring HO to tell them to reword the voucher or something.
2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher

Yeah a relief. Found in a house a mile from the police station.

Grief found hiding under a bed at her grandparents house!!
