    Hi,
Not a good Boots day today!

Went to get some No7 tinted moisturiser while its £4.75.I picked up 2 medium and 1 fair.........I am hoping to have a tan in the summer and will use the medium then!
Also saw a No7 foundation reduced to £6.32,so got that too.
Picked up GWP as total was over £20.
At the till the medium tinted No7 went through at full price:eek:

SA couldn't do anything to change it so took me over to perfume counter where a SA with a No7 badge was!
She altered the price to £4.75,all OK so far.
Please can I use my points? I ask
Yes but you won't get the GWP she replies:mad:
You haven't spent any money she said!
Doesn't she know that we prize points over cash?

By this time I am nearly running late for Drs appt to get all important sick note.So I just said OK.

    But is this correct?

    Shall I phone CS?

    I hate that branch!

I got Lancome bag with points on Wednesday! Different branch!
I think you should have still got the GWP. I know that all the other BOGOFs and 3 for 2 offers work with points so can't see any reason why the GWP wouldn't. I would definitely call CS. I haven't actually done it myself with points though so maybe someone else can shed some light.

loads on clearance in brombrough today ,shower gel, shampoo, hair gel, hair spray all from 10p. Bought some s+g stuff but forgot to hand on vouchers ,do you think i could take it back ,and then buy it again and hand in the vouchers. also found a hat box sa scanned it but it was £9 asked if she thought it would be reduced again sahe said NO
Not long back from the same Boots...some good stuff on the sheves ( for a change ) an they were actually quite full too. Along with the stuff nettienoo reported there was also some garnier cellulite rollerballs green one was 80p and yellow I think £3.xx. Nutrogena deep clean creme cleanser 40p. Botanics Hair minimising Body lotion 55p, Charles Wortington Hair Gel 50p .

Had Garnier eye cream (loads!!) that has been going through and taking the further £2.00 off however it was piced at £4.24..so didn't bother

i would try and take your S&G stuff back and just expalin that you bought the wrong one . See if you can get the refund as they have not got the one you were really supposed to buy?

Thanks Sam84uk for the vouchers they worked a treat;)

I have had other GWPs with points before but there was no point arguing with her.I am a bit fed up just now and didn't want to burst into tears over a GWP:o  :o
This branch always stop the glitches, they never let the No7 highlighter glitch go through with the GWP.
I was going to go round again for some hair colour and spend real money but I'll buy it in another branch!

Anyone else had No7 GWP using points?

Hope you feel better soon and don't let them get you down. I think you should drop the CS a line or email though.

Yes you do get GWP when paying with points. As far as I am aware the only thing you don't get is extra points and you can't use vouchers either

i had a good day bootsing today.
Got a DKNY Men weekend getaway set, reduced to £12.60, a womens DKNY Be Delicious, i smelt the tester, its yummy!, for £16, it has a 50ml EDP spray in it, which alone costs £35, + a 100ml body lotion. Paid for with points. Thses were at Ashford Sevington, where i also picked up another free S&G bag, cant rememeber who from the last boots thread wanted one, but i will go back and have a look. Then to Ashford Town centre, where the staff are really narky... bought a meal deal there ( with points) as i was feeling peckish, and wanted the mens no 7 voucher!

Wow you did realy well. Which Boots is this? sounds like it would be worth a trip .

Richmond: noticed they've restocked the clearance shelves, upstairs.

Chiswick: Suede Sanctuary weekender bags for 10.00 (but I wasn't tempted), sunscreen clearance.

Kew: some Ted Baker mini perfume sets for 7.50.

    No MF hex GWP anywhere!

Had a good trip to Boots in Walsall today, got 6 of the hair serum tiny things, gave them all together and told the sa I wanted to put them through one by one, she banged them about a bit but did it!! LoL. Quite a few things on clearance, deodorant 20p, toothbrushes 20p, and lots of Naked body lotion for 50p. Also got some sandwiches reduced to 75p, which was good cos I was starving, and I wanted the £3 off mens no.7.coupon. Gave said £3 coupon, 100 points from mag, and 250 points from gwp. Boots paid me 50p to take the face wash home for my hubby.

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has tried these? Hope the link works!

    http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1064112&classificationid=1049894&slmRefer=000

Am off on hols in a couple of weeks and apparantly the voltage is different so I was looking for some cordless straighteners to take away with me. These are on offer so I'm hoping they're instore and I could pay with points. But was after any positives/negatives of them first! Also, as I'm a bit thick, would they and the replacement cylinders be ok to take abroad on a plane do you think?

Also wanted to say a great big thanks to Rubylou88 for my S&G eye mask, arrived this morning. Thanks again!
You can't take gas cylinders onto a plane, even in hand luggage afaik.
