When I came to use it I realised it wasn't a tube like I'd had before, but a squeezy plastic bottle. It's the same bottle as the 30ml trial sizes that you get in GWP come in and has a very wide neck, no nozzle or anything.

Anyone else had the squeezy bottle and disliked it?

Just checked mine and it's a tube in my round Mothers Day box. Hope you get sorted, I find the tubes much better even than the old pumps.

This isn't exactly Boots related, but as Bootsers are interested in lotions and potions and things to make us lovely, I thought I'd point out a post about getting a £12 Ren skincare sampler kit for free (but you pay £3 shipping). * credit card where you can collect points on all spending not just boots

I sent off for this last Weds and it arrived on Saturday ! Great little freebie, am looking forward to trying it (when all the relatives have gone home ! lol)

I went into boots today and i regretted going into it.

i went to get SG jam session. and a free toothbrush. Found a 50p SG coupon on the bottles so i thought...eureka. went to till..and my SA put the SG and toothbrush thru. then she asked for my card,..and i COULDNT find it...... so she refused to put my SG points thru, saying that she cannot scan points coupon without an AC??)

so i ended up with a toothbrush and SG, and total to pay was:

and points was 16...according to my mental calculation. butwhen she handed me my receipt,....i realised that she had not validated my receipt.... and iwas told that there isno point cancelling the transaction and repeating as my SG coupon wont scan anymore..... so i thought..fine..i'll just return the SG in another store. it was then that i realised ...the SA had not scannedmy SG coupon, but did a price reduction on the SG...making it 4.50...so nopoint returning,a s i will only get 4.50 back. at this point,.

I would call cs and just explain, if she had scanned the extra points voucher and validated your receipt it would have been there to add later, tell them your not really wanting to complain but you feel cheated out of points, they may just neeed tom retrain the staff that points can be added without a card. I would have felt cheated as i know how much we all value our points. Good luck

When I was waiting for my newcard to come through, I could not get the SA's to scan any points vouchers for me at all. Totally refused. I also lost my 10% discount for the HC. So missed out on a lot until my new card arrived.

I did the same using the baby 500 points voucher sent to me from a fellow mse as it had her name on it. Got it validated the next day no probs.

After 3 months I am getting the hang of BOOTSING. Thanks to everyone for all your help!!!! Only just realised that you can only use a single acm voucher or single mag voucher per transaction even if you buy 2 of the products!! So now need to take back a couple of toothbrushes to "exchange" and start again. Happy Easter everybody.
