also,..doesanyone know what to do if the stuff you bought from boots expired? I bought a reduced Trevor sorbie hair balm last week.only used it for 5 days andmy scalp is itching.(i have very bad skin and sensitive scalp). I had to soak my hair and scalp in yoghurt solution to calm it down.

thought i may be allergic to ingredients,so cheked them and they seem to be the normal ingredients in hair products.

then......at the bottom of the bottle, i realised that it is written "BBE Feb 2007" am i right in thinking that BBE stands for best before end? istill have the receipt stating that the item was purchased last week. what should i do?

Think this is a CS call! If there is an EXP date it must be for a reason, being able to buy something that is past the EXP date is bad enough, but if it has caused a reaction, I'd definately call them. Sometimes I think alot of people just call CS in an aim to get compensation, however...I think your sole reason to call CS should be to get a refund for the product, via gift card or card refund, plus compensation points. Sound serious and make sure they understand that you have the receipt and have a really sore scalp. I would not say you are sensitive as it gives them a reason to not take your claim seriously.

If you still have the receipt and the product then personally I would send it to Boots Customer Care, the address is on the back of the receipt, it's the PO box 5300 one. Make sure you explain any symptoms and what your doctor said, if you consulted one.

I returned a product last week due to allergy, sent it in along with a photo of DD's sore eyes (it was mascara) They replied within two days and sorted the whole thing out.

Seems pretty bad that a store can sell something over a year past the BBE date, reduced or not I didn't think they could do that.

Re: the S&G. They might be willing to add the points if you go back in with your AC and receipt. I recently bought some Expert serum, the ACM was out of order downstairs when I bought it, went upstairs and found a points voucher for it on the ACM. They were fine about adding the extra points a few minutes later. I guess it's at the discretion of the SA or supervisor though.

Just thinking...if most of the PC Half price expert coupon does not work on the current BOGOF wipes...

will the PC expert half price voucher make the current half price in store baby expert go through free, presumably on one purchase only?

Also...gosh...i'm full of questions today! Olay...
If you have 2 x free wipes, cleansing milk, toner or face wash
plus 1 x 500pts on olay total effects moisturiser

what is the best way to use them? I'm not keen on olay as it makes me itch, but what could I do maybe to get wipes, handcream etc

Sure this has all been answered before, but can not seem to get to the bottom of it!!!!

    cheers in advance!!!

I got the Olay hand treatment for £4.42 last week, with the 500 points, so they are paying you to take it away. Went around three times. The free wipes etc. is on any moisturiser so didnt work for me.

Do you need a voucher to get the 500 points on the Olay, or is it automatic? If it's a voucher, where do you get it?

Another thought I'm having this Easter morning: It seems a reason we could easily leave our cards in the ACM is that it only makes the slightest, barely audible beep when it releases your card. It should make a loud beep like cashpoints do. The other, better thing needed, of course, is for the cards to require a pin be entered if you are paying with points. Is that an idea worth joining forces to inundate CS with requests for a change?

The pin number for the cards sounds a great idea, nearly left mine at the counter last time I went. As a but of easter fun what would you love to see at boots

    * chip and pin advantage cards
    * price check scanner at the end of isles that customers can use
    * credit card where you can collect points on all spending not just boots
    * nice hunky sales men (well I can dream)
    * facility to convert points into vouchers for online use (tescos can do it so it cant be that hard)

    Happy easter everyone

500pts on olay was a PC voucher. However, my new booklet did not come with one, so possibly it is finished now, not sure, sorry!

    I'd love these first two:
    * chip and pin advantage cards
    * price check scanner at the end of isles that customers can use

As for a card that let's you gather points everywhere, I just signed up for one with Tesco and would much rather have that as I've just learned all the things I can do with Tesco vouchers -- which turn your points into four times their value.

They have tons of champagne in Camberley but they were all priced at £12.99 on Saturday. So here's hoping that they are open on Monday.

All chocolate now gone in our house! Lily O'Brien's easter egg (from Boots) was delicious.

    Happy Easter
    Here come the girls....100% Gorgeous!!!
