Is Liz earle worth it?

One for the other gents, I used to use Liz Earle when I could afford her but for the last few years have been using Botanics for Men from Boots & love it. Keeps me looking younger anyway x.0

The cleanse and polish just doesn't suit my skin at all, and leaves it feeling a little sore and sensitive, almost like it's sunburned. I think it's the eucalyptus oil. Fortuantely I was able to find out with a sample tube. I much prefer Tesco's BNatural skin brightening cleanser and it smells gorgeous. I find since I hit 40 products with rose/rose oil in suit my skin much better.0

Tesco's version is now being discontinued and rebranded as 'Organic Cream Cleanser': http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=10057453&postcount=78
Thank heavens for that as I have just found the Tescos brand and have been wondering if I needed to stock pile. I am a Liz Earle user usually but as Im getting older I need to spend money on different products and Im giving Elemis a rattle atm so needed a good cheap cleanser and the Tescos one is going the job and is just as gentle on my skin as the Liz Earle0 -

Thanks for that, I didn't know that. I thought they were a little low on stock in my local Tesco today. I think I'll buy some while it's on 3 for 2.0 -
If anyone would like to give their opinion of the new Tesco one, once they've tried it, on my cheap but outstanding cosmetics thread, I'd be really grateful. Thanks.0

Oh no!! I really like this cleanser and saw from that link that it has been reformulated. I don't have a Tesco near me ... will have to find one at the weekend and stock up!0 -
Well I got the sample pack and to be honest I have to disagree with the majority and say I don't think Liz Earle products are worth the money.
While they were lovely they didn't do anything to my skin that other cheaper products have done in the past. Maybe I was expecting too much but for the cost of the products I was expecting alot. The samples were used up quite quickly. For the last two weeks I've been using Ponds and to be honest the results have been pretty much the same.
Thanks everyone for the advice but I think I'll be sticking with the cheaper products.0 -

Which goes to show one size doesn't fit all
I've just tried Elemis, thankfully I got the kit from QVC as it has to go back. Im so disappointed as the claims from other users had me convinced it that it would be perfect for me but tbh my skin was in a better condition before I used it.
Back to Liz Earle and also for now the Tescos cleanser. It seems to be doing a great job removing make up and best of all not upsetting my skin0 -
Ive been converted to Liz Earles C+P, toner and moisturiser, I love the superskin concentrate and use this before bed, its aromatherapy is divine. Been using it for a month and my skin is feeling better, but I dont think I'll ever be able to afford this on an ongoing basis which is a real shame. I received a sample of the C+P in January and I still dont know where it came from, I cant remember applying for it, but I liked it.
Has anyone tried the castor/olive oil mix mentioned on this thread? Whats the verdict? This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. (SHAKESPEARE, Hamlet, 1600) :kisses2:

Try the Tescos bnatural Organic cream cleanser - same as Liz Earle but doesnt smell so niceBut at less then £4 for 150ml its a good enough substitute
Ive been doing the caster oil clean as well - very drying so only doing it twice a week. Cheeks are looking a lot better - pores are not very noticeable at all now but no real change to the oil production from my nose and forehead yet0
