Is Liz earle worth it?

They are soooo tight with their samples
- i called them & mentioned the lovely reviews they received here, was politely told they have never heard of us & they don't do free samples
If you want "free samples" (excluding P+P) then order from QVC. You can try it for 30 days and if you dont like it, it dont like you - send it back for a full refund0 -
Just to mention there is a Liz Earle seconds shop on Ebay which is cheaper than QVC but doesn't always have the full range:

i was in boots yesterday and saw that they have a bit of a liz earle rip off n their sanctuary range
it is called The Sanctuary Spa Perfectly Polished Hot Cloth Cleanse.
has anyone tried it?0 -
I love Liz Earle products, especially as they are BUAV approved, but cannot use C&P or Skinrepair as I end up with red painful lumps on my face. Am fine with everything else though. The Superskin Moisturizer is divine - the little pot lasts for ages (had mine for a month and it's still got another 2-3 weeks to go I think). Her body products smell amazing too - I wish she'd make a fragrance that smells the same.0

On other threads I have noticed that the main LE products people rave about seem to be the C&P and the Skin Repair moisturiser. Not much mention of the toner.
Does anybody find that the toner is really necessary for best results? Given that C&P states that you should splash with cold water after finishing with the hot cloth, is that sufficient?
I've just started using C&P, am treating myself to the moisturiser next time I'm passing John Lewis (as I have vouchers to spend) but not sure whether the toner is a justifiable expense.

I use the toner, just because:o
BUT I got the 200ml spritzer one. That way it all goes on your face & not on a cotton wool ball:rolleyes:
I got it before xmas lasy year, a good bit before & I haven't used half of it & I give it a few good sprays.
I would say if you get the spritzer it will last a year or so:D
I don't know if it makes heaps (or any) differencem but its the one LE thing that works out REALLY cheap because it lasts so long.0 -
I use the toner but I can't see that it makes any difference, it's just part of my routine now. I won't be buying another one when this one runs out although it's a spritzer and it's lasting AGES!
I do have a tiny spritzer that I take on the plane though and I like using that one as it makes me feel better when sitting in that stuffy crowded atmosphere.:smileyhea "here, hare, here" :smileyhea0 -
No need to use a toner with the C&P, but its lovely to have if you get a freebie. If you do decise to treat yourself and dont get a spritzer, apply with your finger tips instead of cotton wool - sort of pushing it into your skin - will last forever that way0

Same here unfortunately. I absolutely love the orange flower body wash though, it smells so gorgeous.0 -
I've been hooked on Liz Earle since my Mum bought me the skincare set for my birthday last year.
Cleanse and polish is a fantastic product that I would not be without, and I also love the Instant boost skin tonic and the Skin Repair light. I was converted to this range from Clinique, and it is so much kinder on the face! I also find that it lasts a long time as the packaging is designed to dispense the amount you need so you don't waste loads.
Having said that, I have also found that the Superskin Moisturiser and Deep Cleansing mask do not suit my skin and leave it red and uncomfortable, so I guess it's a case of finding the products that suit you.
I recommend the little 'Try-me' sets as a great way to find out what suits your skin without spending a fortune. I've also received some kind of freebie trial size goody every time I've ordered from them so far, so that is a nice little bonus too!
