Quidco is ace! I find myself asking people when their insurance is up for renewal... it's not really a good ice breaker in the workplace!

Well, it will mean £100 towards the food bill each month and he never bothers to look himself so I'll just see it as a little 'commission' alongside the £55 I'm waiting to see go through the system for sorting out his houses insurance (which reads as 'no, I won't be telling him!). I found him his current payment for his car 4 years ago through Elephant (I was a trainee MSE'er then even before I knew it existed!) - he was paying £600 a year with Norwich Union when I first met him!

tell me the vacancy is to be his sex puppet or else I'm not clicking the link :)

Erm, yes NAGH, that's exactly what it is! Good luck at the interview, would love to know what you plan on wearing!!!

Seriously though, wouldn't it be ace to be a runner for the show, you could get IA's MacDonalds for her, and other groovy stuff.

Nice of him to give the breaks to someone on MSE though, good opening for someone with an interest in the media i guess, provided you were local and didn't already have a job.

Hi all, had this week off work following nasty car crash at weekend. Although in lots of pain am getting a bit bored but have managed to avoid the Jeremy Kyle show thus far! At least I haven't spent anything as not been out and kind friends keep bringing around bars of chocolate and magazines for me!

I dipped below £10k mark but then treated myself to new mattress so have risen above it again. Feel bit guilty but was not getting a good night sleep and old was was 11 yrs old and time for the mattress graveyard.

Just wanted to say hi. xx
Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time

    Happy birthday, KYH!!!!

Weather unpredictable in Edinburgh today, but fortunately dry when I was cycling into and from work. Didn't stop my my backside, legs and back getting covered in dirt and mud (although that's partly my fault as I see mud and puddles and plod right through them - Weeeeeeeeee heeeeeeeee!!!)

Also, results day at work, so found out I'm getting a gift of some shares from my company. How nice of them. They're worth about £250 and I can't sell them without having to pay tax on them, but great that I can add those to company shares from a previous employer (worth about £150!) and gradually build up a wee portfolio for a rainy day. Find out about payrise and cash bonuses later in the week, but I'm not putting out much hope as I've only been there 6 months. Still, if it comes along it's a nice surprise.

I hope everyone has a great 'rest of Wednesday'!!!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
