Morning all I am not working until later on today so going to do some chores around the house this morning and maybe get the tea ready, If I get time which I doubt I will have a long soak in the bath instead of a shower. Very Very windy here this morning and cold with it.

Thanks Jet - I might do that, although the ironing mountain is threatening to engulf the living room at the moment! :D

    Awww, happy birthday kyh!

Give your husband a kick up the backside and tell him to spoil you this evening by making dinner while you put your feet up. May have to splash out on a take away while we can still afford it otherwise I will end up having to clean the kitchen up after him:mad:

Can you get someone else to sell the handbag on ebay for you? Or do you mean she would notice you no longer had it? No she would notice I haven't got it and will expect me to actually use it when she is visiting:eek:

The cheque can possibly still be paid in, providing the spelling mistake isn't too bad, and you take your marriage certificate (and possibly another form of id such as passport/driving license) into the bank with you. Bank wouldn't accept the one at Xmas that was misspelt and this is in maiden name - will try it but they will probably say no!

Errr....if it's your maiden name, and your brother has written it, isn't it the same as HIS name? Doesn't he know how to spell his own name? :rotfl:No his surname is actually differnet to mine and my mums - long story;)

Edit - oh hang on - misread it.....

Sorry to sound such a grump I should just be happy that I am 35 and not 40:rotfl:

Morning all, blustery but dry here with (dare I say it in case it disappears!) blue sky!

Mega mound of washing to do. I've managed to do the bedding I stripped the day we went away, the bedding used by my parents, towels and tea towels - I might get to start the pile used on holiday soon!

Bizarrely didn't gain any weight whilst away, which was a surprise as I ate croissants with butter and then a full English each morning and then a 3 course dinner each evening (whoops!!) Maybe it will take a few days to catch up and I'll be a stone heavier by Friday!!

Is the bag truly hideous KYH? describe it?

sometimes i think some Radley bags are hideous, and i love them mostly. Maybe it's a really expensive one?!

Snaggles will have it off you, ooops forgot, she doesn't need a new handbag! (see her sig)

I got a nice Radley from my old work when i left and haven't felt the urge to buy one since, good job as could never ever afforded one on my own.
