I had 10 listings finish yesterday - 3 didn't sell, 7 did for a combined total of £228.98 :j . After fees I will probably get just under £200, not too shabby ;)

I'll update my total when everyone's paid.
    Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037
    Swagbucks ~ £130 (2024 ~ £395)
    Surveys ~ £141.14 (2024 ~ £280.14)
    Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)
  • I need to motivate myself again, my target for the next 30 days is £200, it used to be 'easy' but I've ran out of big things to sell, it's only tiny things now so I'm not sure it's worth it. Still, xmas is around the corner so it'll go to my xmas fund!
Got rid of all my credit card debt, reduced crazy utilities bills, learned to budget, and now trading down to a smaller property. Lurking around the DIY forum.

  • Guys I need your advice!
    1. Ebay are charging me £3 every now and again as seller fees. Why? I haven't listed for ages
    2. What is the best way to list boots and blouses.
    3. Do items sell in little sets of three?
    4. How on earth do I get handmade jewellery (and it really is, I made it) to sell? In job lots maybe?

    Thanks!!!!

  • I completely forgot about this thread, I've been so busy listing that I haven't had time to see how everyone else is getting on.
I think I might be about £600 in profit so far, but I really much look through my cash book and work it all out. Christmas is a coming and my PayPal balance needs fattening up! I'm setting myself a new goal, I want to finishing raising the £1000 by the 1st December!

I need Just under £7000 to become debt free, in a mad moment i thought i only needed to sell 7000 items on e-bay to achieve this

Your plan is brilliant but remember this...ebay will charge you a small fee for everything you sell and you need to cover postage and packing.

So your plan should be to make a £1 profit on every item you sell. You may need to charge more than a pound for each item to achieve this.

Well, I lost the plot and went astray and spent the money I had already earned :(

But, I do have my eye on my dad's old mega drive and games. They are actually selling quite well!

And I just found 3 boxed, unused Avon nail varnishes. They may raise a quid or £2!

So all is not lost! :)
