    Thanks everyone
It has taken me since the second week of January.
It started very slowly but once i found someone who could sell me a lot of computer equipment in bulk at a discounted rate i took the chance and went for it
I had to spend every penny i had from my wages and what i had currently saved for my debts to do this so i knew it was a huge risk, but the items started to sell quickly and by the first night i had sold a few items and got £550 back!!
For each item i could make up to 60% profit from what i originally paid
I know not many people can get this sort of money together to do this and to be honest neither could i but i risked everything as i believed that it would work and that i could do it
Before i brought the items i did check Ebay and they was being sold for very close to retailer price
I was selling mobile phones, processors, graphics cards and memory for those of you interested

Once i had got my wages back and made £500 profit i then paid more and got more stock from the same seller and away i went again

The only problem with this in the end was that PayPal closed my account as they said it was high risk as i had not brought the items from a business seller so i couldnt supply a VAT invoice??!!
What worries me about this is that i thought Ebay was for selling old + new items
I started by selling items i had brought at car boot sales, how was i supposed to supply VAT invoices for these - and yes PayPal did ask for these!!
They couldnt answer this though and kept saying i was high risk and they stand by their decision so it looks like i made it just in time as i would have been truly shafted had they dont this when i had a lot of sales on the go!! - thankfully it was only a couple left and they paid by cheque instead

Yes i did go through bad patches and some times i just thought of giving up but then before i knew it the bank balance would reach my next target and i would feel motivated again (i set myself weekly targets which i knew i would easily hit, but i think it was a physiological thing for me)

anyway keep it up everyone and good luck

My CD is currently at £12.50 :T I wasn't expecting it to go that high!!! Silly thing is I'd put a BIN on at £6.99 so they could've saved themselves some money.... be interesting to see what it finishes at!!

When it finishes will you tell us what it was, maybe I have it here ;) Got 200 80's cd's here that need to be sorted - cant remember the last time I listened to any of them - hard to let go of them though isn't - the memories one associates with music etc.

Great that you are doing so well - hope it continues - I am sitting on £15.99 for a week now - but all finish (19) tomorrow - and more than half have watchers -- not that that means much

a question for ajc_2005 will you continue selling on e bay now to make money? i have started the challenge last month and i love it i actually count up the money rather than selling bit and bobs it seems to make really cash now i have looked at it differently. over the last 3 weeks i have taken £110 out of paypal and put in a savings account to pay off my debt! i am so please as i am only selling bits and bobs from around the house.
well done to you for reaching such a huge target in such a short periord of time
