wow, I really admire you lot getting so much stuff listed. I have only managed 2 listings so far.

Last night Ebay would not let me upload pictures at all - I kept getting a 'security error' message. Anyway, that seems to be sorted and I have six more things photographed ready to upload tonight then I'll try to find some more for Thursday.

Can you enter me on the challenge with a target of £1,000. That seems quite impossible enough!

    Well done everyone

Just finished my first batch of 20 items and I'm up to £125 and odd pence, so pleased with that. Although I think that was the nicest of my "treasure" and it's not going to be as good next time! Got some time off this week and next so going to try and be good and put double that on
  • Hi, ive been lurking on this mad ebay challenge now for the last few days. think its a wicked way to motivate us all. after all the pennies add up. At the moment i have 24 items on, so lets see. From the money in my paypal account i will pay off my charges, so i know exactly what profit i have made. just abit easier for me then a spread sheet.
Can someone tell me how to do my signature again.

Please count me in for £2000.

Hi can i join as well please? I popped into this challenge last week and listed 3 items - which has now all sold! Made about £28 profit for about 20 mins in front of the PC. Have a whole houseful of "stuff" and a new digital camera (bought in half price sale of course!), so this thread is great motivation.

Will list stuff on thursday's 5p day on a 3 day listing to get rid of it all! Loads of new stuff that me and DH pick up for what is a bargain at the time, and then it just sits there.....

Could you pls put me down in the challenge for £1000 - might as well be ambitious!

I've sold about 6 things so far and have bids on about 8 things (29 listed) some have more bids on than I thought, will be finding more for the 5p listing day on Thursday then will have to stop (baby due in 4 weeks time), will update when everything has finished and I've taken off Ebay fees and Paypal fees.

This is so exciting, it's great to get bids on things that I thought wouldn't get any.

Cut my knuckle on a wine glass quite bad when washing up last night so it's taking me twice as long to wrap stuff up.

I have loads of clothes to list but im not sure weather it would be better to list them as a lot or individually.
    Any advice for me??

I normally find listing them individually gets more in the long run just so much more hassle. I have listed some amasing bundles of baby clothes before only to sell for 99p so either list individual or with a higher start price.

Have posted everything off now and taken off all costs so total so far is 30.72, got 2 more things listed, one with 22 watchers. I will list more stuff on thursday, and I will iron and price up the kids summer clothes for the nearly new sale tonight, i will i will i will!

Hi im guessin that if we list today to go on, on Thurs we still get the 5p listing fee----

    What's Included?
    • Only items listed in British Pounds Sterling on eBay.co.uk using the Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats are included.
    • Sellers can list items with any starting price to qualify for the promotion.
    • Any item previously scheduled to go live on Thursday 3rd of April 2008 will qualify for the promotion.
    • If sellers re-list an item on Thursday 3rd of April 2008 that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-listed item will qualify for the promotion. I think it depends on the clothes. If they're small inexpensive items, like t-shirts or jeans then list them as a job lot. If they're more expensive or a good brand then list them individually. Also I think baby and childrens clothes go better when they are grouped together in age.
