Int. calls using free inclusive mobile minutes

[tt] what I was less confident about was whether it would come out of the inclusive minutes.  I guess the only way to confirm that would be to make a call and tackle the dreaded BT Mobile custoemr services[/tt]

I spoke to CS too & they were polite but hopeless & had absolutely no idea if these were inclusive minutes.. BUT i have friend using this number & he confirmed [& showed me] that his recent invoices show that these calls to 07744 974333 are definitely INCLUDED as inclusive free mobile minutes and he's making therefore 'free' international calls....

Well, 07744 974 333 is certainly a mobile-format number so you shouls be able to use x-network inclusive minutes on any mobile network to make free international calls.

The question is, what network is 07744 974 333 assigned to? For instance, if it is a VODAFONE number then it should be possible to make free international calls using inclusive minutes that are NOT X-network.

On my VODAFONE tariff I get 200 minutes x-network/month at any time. But I also get unlimited calls at weekends but these are not x-network.

So, can anyone tell me if 07744 974 333 is a VODAFONE number or not?

i spoke to the company offering this service [their website's on prev posts here] & they informed me that u can only use their service by using cross-network minutes but not to use them with any 'same-network' incl minutes...[seems that they're not a regular mobile number - voda/o2/orange etc..]

but i was assured that 0774497 4333 is included on x-network plans.. brilliant & it works!

According to BT's price list at http://www.serviceview.bt.com/list/current/docs/Call_Charges.boo/16311.htm 07744 9 is an "fm2" i.e. Dolphin mobile (who they????).

So if you had a Dolphin mobile you might be on for a bargain, but that's approximately nobody so the cross-network story stands.

This is a great tip ! I made some test calls yesterday and checked with BT mobile today. The calls ARE definitely included in my free mins (they have decreased and I have no additional charges - so this is a douuble check !)

I can’t get through to India on this service.
When I rang the cust service number quoted they gave me a 0871 number and she said she’d never heard of this 0774 number!

I tried & doesn't go thru.
not all countries are covered as some destinations are obviously too dear.
