Broadband! The expensive all day one at that
.
Moisturiser (but any half-decent brand - I'm not that fussy), lip salve, face powder (I am "of a certain age"
) and oven chips 'cos that's a third of the evening meal sorted every day!
And going to the hairdresser every 12 weeks for a cut 'n colour (I do my own trims in between, but won't risk colouring).
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Find a hair dressing college locally. I pay £10 every month for roots, cut and blow dry. Plain cut & BD just £5, kids cut which includes wash & BD is £3.50. They don't even quibble at little Poppy's waist length hair.

Once the littlie is in school in September I am never going to be out of our local college, they not only have a hair salon but a beauty salon too. I can get my hair done, legs waxed, eyebrows tweezed and nails primped for mere pennies

DH isn't going to know what hit him

Body shop shampoo. It's the only one I can find that doesn't make me itch like mad. I found it half price about a year ago and stocked up. I'm almost out now and I've just seen the full price.
DH can't cope without his Sky subscription just for the football. But we've cut it back to the cheapest package we could.
I really think life would be a sorry affair without an occasional chocolate treat too.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Decent bread - I'd rather go without than have to buy value bread. Although, I'm saving like a crazy thing to buy my first breadmaker so am hoping HM bread will replace the stuff I currently buy

Beware though the beauty trainees are slow. I am a born again (wax) virgin. My sis is an old hand and decided to save pennies by going to trainees to have her legs waxed. She will never go back even though it was cheap she said it was soooooooo painful because they were timid:o . I have had my make up done and nails preened which was lovely and slow and relaxing.

O'kay, I've used them before and they tend to only let the 2nd year students who've already had a bit of practice do the actual salon stuff
It's the hairdressers I find so slow, I was having my hair bleached once and it took the girl so long that the instructor sent out for sandwiches for my lunch and then finished it off so that I could get to the school in time to pick the kids up. Decent teabags, my cleaner, Arial washing tablets (I only buy them on BOGOF), ready cooked chicken, I am sure there are lots of other things too, I save money buying stuff on BOGOF etc just to spend it on luxuries:eek: still that's what moneysaving's all about isn't it, getting what you want at the best price?;)0
