    Posh was the people who had a new sofa every 5 years, and the wide flat style champagne glasses, them was posh.
    Tinned salmon. (posh by our standards)
    And when I was a kid people knew how to dress for certain occasions, none of this belly hanging out of the jeans, unpolished shoes, wearing white at weddings if you are not the bride. Nanna mostly wore a headscarf to keep her hair 'set' Wondered what the point of having her hair set was if few would ever see it!
    Oh and bbc2 was posh, it had foreign stuff on.

    Yes in the '80's we went to look ata house on a new estate in our village where the houses had been built with THREE toilets, we just couldn't understand why an average family would need more than one.:)

    LOL! Our new house has 4! I was really excited about that...till it dawned on me that I would have to be cleaning all those toilets!
