hi no nothing to hide the underwriters check everything just want to know if its ok to use my credit card again need to purchase something but its around £5000

I had the jitters (and still do a bit) when first started trying to get our mortgage. We have nothing to hide, but i'm a rather negative person and i'm convinced they will change their minds just before we get the keys.
I think there is always a chance that things could go wrong. No matter what the situation or how good credit scores and documents are. But anything on their side of things are out of your hands, so stop panicking. If it doesnt happen, then it doesnt happen and you'll sort that out if it comes to that.0 -

Yeah, i know that.. You said in your first post. But you asked if anything can go wrong and the answer is, yes it could. It doesnt matter wether you have a mortgage with them or have paid a mortgage off in the past. I don't see why it would go wrong at all.. But things are never ever 100% certain until you have the keys in your hand.
As for using your credit card, i wouldnt, just in case. But that's up to you. It would mean that you owe more again and will be different to what your application said. So just hold off for a moment.0 -
have you got you mortgagenow0

In principle yes, but still waiting for the actual offer. It's been going on for ages now and i've gone from over excited, to not sleeping at night, to now boredom. I'm scared more that they will change their criteria before the offer is made and we have to go through it all again.
Good luck0 -

Why did you cough up the deposit without knowing the final outcome with C&g?
