can anything go wrong

im borrowing on the equity on my house to buy abroad which mortgage peeps at c&g have said ok hanaded in my mortgage application credit checks ok can it get reject ed at this stage as i have handed over the deposit for the aptment c@g say they will lend me the money can anything possibly go wrong from now to get the mortgage offer in about 3weeks

    Unlikely, as long as the valuation is OK and they're happy with your proof of income (assuming they're not fast-tracking it).

    they got a letter from my accountant plus my last years projections and said they my not do a valuation as my mortgage is already with them whats a fast track im having sleepless nights on this

    Relax, they've done a credit search, you've got proof of income, no reason for anything to go wrong.

    thanks for that even if i use my credit card for about £500 pounds can nothing go wrong as i have just paid them off but may need to use it again for around £500 dont want this to upset the apple cart

    whats a fast track could do with this has i have to book a euro rate to transfer the funds its a nightmare

    Reading between the lines I think you may be worried they may requested your actual historic accounts (as opposed to a projection). The answer is 'yes' they can ask for further proof at any time.

    how often does this happen i had a meeting with a c&g manager she never metioned this i have also paid of a mortgage on my business premise which they know about this building is worth around £250-£300 grand so ive plenty of equity but my accounts look ok she said ive no problems scared stiff its going to tumble at the latter stages my credit rating is fine the just wanted my to pay my credit cards of which ive done

    C & G tend not to ask for income proof when doing a further advance.
