Well, yes, we all indulge now and again but it has become a habit to save the excess every month now and not spend it!

Finished my saving now, due to exchange a week on Monday. Saved just over £37k in just over 5 years. Thought I'd find it harder to hand over the deposit but to be honest it didn't really bother me, I could always sell up to get (most of) it back.

Next target is to get the mortgage paid off before I'm 40, but that is some time off.

    Good luck to everyone else!
  • Yey for payday! We have now filled half of our ISA allowance for this year - and it's only May!

    Thank you Census!

    Hi everyone
Payday yesterday and I have added another £400 to my house savings, I'm hoping to be able to top that up and get over the 25% mark before the end of June.
I am starting a 2nd job tomorrow, as a Weightwatchers leader so I am hoping to be able to save the majority of my pay from there each month.
