I've been doing quite well on amazon and ebay these last few weeks, but I'll be stopping that for my annual "christmas break" (I don't sell things between mid Dec and Feb as most people have hardly any money left after Christmas )

I've been selling my old books and CDs on amazon for a few years now and find every January to be one of my best months!! I know, it is strange. I wondered if it was because people are programmed to buy in the jan sales:confused:!!?

butterfly - that's quite surprising! But well done for doing well (sprinkle some luck my way please:D) I only started amazon last September so I don't think I had a huge amount of feedback or stock last January.

I've just added my latest amazon payment onto my totals, but it's not enough to bring me up to my target this month ~ I'm £142 short and next month I doubt I'll save much at all, what with Christmas, my works party/dinner, panto and taking my DD to see miley cyrus, but luckily the tickets are paid for. I just need to buy travel, food, t-shirt...

Best of luck to you little star. I think you will feel a much bigger sense of accomplishment than most others from saving from a low income. You keep going and make yourself happy by seeing the end goal and none of the temptations between now and then!

Good luck to you and well done to everyone else.

Sugarpants - I'm a blondie as well :p. I work out my percentage as follows (using littlestars total as an example):-

    539 divided by 10,000 times 100 = 5.39

Basically divide the amount you have with the amount you want to save then times it by 100 which is the percentage ~ I sound brainy, but I'm not :rotfl::rotfl:
