The pound can only keep falling because foreign investors are ditching it.
They think there is going to be a l o n g and deep recession in this country and that`s the reason for the continuing fall.
The BoE meets tomorrow and Thursday but instead of raising base rates by at least half of one % they will just sit on the fence and do nothing.
It`s all down to the man who said the days of boom and bust are over.
Well we`ve had the boom, now for the bust.

Yes they are an excellant company.
I used to use them all the time until they lost the contract at Luton and Stansted.
You buy your currency in advance at above average rate and then pick it up at the airport on the day of travel.
    Never had a problem ever.

I am about to buy some euros from travelex. But last time I used my debit card i was charged a fee as the transaction was, I think, classed as a cash advance. I can't remember if which debit card I used. Can anyone tell me if I should use my Barclays or HSBC debit card to avoid this charge. .? ta
  • Hi all what do I do if I buy too many euros where can I sell them when I get back to uk?

Anywhere that sells them will also buy them - doesn't have to be the same place.

But keep them or sell them to a friend is better advice

most banks charge you for buying currency excpet Nationwide.

Im not flying so would be having it delivered from travelex which is what made me a bit cautious.

Does anyone know if Ill get better rate (more for my money) if I buy euros or use my nationwide card when Im out there?
