seeing as this is in the travel section and is called euro currency i thought it was about helping people find holiday money? or is it just a place to list the current euro trade rate which isnt the same as currency exchange rate, seems a bit pointless to meWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

I find it useful just to have some idea of what the baseline is at the minute without having to go off and dig around for it

Which way would expect sterling to go?
Oh yes and what is left of our postal system is trying to commit suicide.0 -
Obvious direction would be down due to more money being put into circulation, it does depend on the demand vs that supply also thoughAmerica's monetary base was equal to 6pc of national income. Now, after a year of money printing, it's 12pc. The US has expanded its basic money supply by a staggering 108pc in 12 months.
UK's monetary base now equal to almost a fifth of GDP, up a head-spinning 169pc in a single year.

Recently returned from working abroad and have approx 1000 Euro left in cash from my personal money.
What is the best way of converting this back into sterling? I believe I can pay this directly into my bank account yet I am worried that the exchange rate will not be good. Any suggestions?0 -
I think the banks will be even worse then just taking it to the post office, ask them first what the cost would be0
