EUR/GBP has soared by half-a-penny to test 0.8839 (Aug 27, 12-week peak) on the back of BoE Governor Mervyn King"s disclosure to the UK TSC that "looking at reducing the remuneration of bank reserves with BoE" (Reuters). Buy stops were previously tipped above 0.8840.
