Well, the Dollar has dropped significantly against the Euro too since April, so I think it's more a case of a weak Dollar propping up the Pound.
We need the European Central Bank to lower their interest rates again, but I can't see that happening...0 -

thats what i mean, the Euro is somehow staying strong against GBP and USD, but all we hear is bad news out of Euroland

announcements always made 12.45pm (uk time)
6th August (same day as BoE)
3rd September (1 week before BoE)
8th October (same day as BoE)
5th November (same day as BoE)
3rd December (1 week before BoE)
