Well I don't like to say I told you so but....
I TOLD YOU SO.
1.12+ by Friday was my bet the other day and for once the market reacts the right way to poor GDP figures from the Eurozone.
Lets push on by another cent or more in the coming week to where we were 8 days ago.

You can all rest easy now, I've ordered my currency, which is bound to send it soaring !!
I didn't realise that the Crown exchange that comes up with the best rate on the Money Maximiser tool was only for advanced bookingsI could have ordered my money a couple of weeks ago.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -
Just got back from Salou this morning and the £-Euro was going up and down a couple of times per day.
Was 1.06 on Tues (after commission) and went up and down between 1.07 and 1.055 all week.We seek a world in which everyone with HIV/AIDS can live an abundant lifeWant to join us?0 -
Hi-
Please can someone tell me- where's the best place to exchange euro's into stirling? I have 10,800 euro's to exchange.
My dad told me I better do it now as they are worth 10% more than last year- no, I havent been living under a stone- I just have been away out of the uk.
Would appreciate any advice. Are there big companies that give better rates than post office on big amounts.
Have I already left it to late to exchange?- has the best rates gone?0 -
Kaizen108,
I will take them off your hands.
Currently 10,800 euro's are worth only £355 and a mars bar.
As I am a kind perosn I will give you £360 cash.
Meet me round the back in a hour. I am the one with the Financial Times tucked under my arm............LOLIt's far better to be penny wise than pound foolish.
