Going away beginning of June, can get 1-14 at the moment, buy now or leave it a bit longer?
  • I've been watching the Euro rate over the last 7 weeks, and i'm buying today from First Choice at 1.1044 - they agreed to match the Post Office's rate, so i'm laffin!:j I'll be changing £1000, so would rather play it safe and get it at that rate before Mr Darling starts making silly decisions next week which could affect the rate... I'm happy with that anyway :D
  • going to cyprus in a few weeks i have about thirty cyprus pounds from a previous holiday, will the banks over there still accept them in exchange for euros, not sure when the cut off point was.

I have used this reputable company for 4 years and yes the rate s as I say, the chances of the rate getting higher is IMO In "YOUR" dreams but it is better than the OP was offered and better than it's been for a long time in the past "12 Months" unless you know something better than the rest of us????

You can check the company through Companies House,,,,, It's a culture site as I say I have had a lot of faith in them for the past 4 years.... That's a lot of trading IMO

And as you say...... It's your dosh but always look that's why people give advice, it's based on experience............ Nobody is going to recommend a business that has given them a bad deal:confused:

  • Which way do you think the Euro/Pound will swing tomorrow (Monday)?

I'm about to transfer my remaining dosh from my Scandinavian account into my uk RBS, thinking 9am sharp is probably best as the Euro has been constantly sliding on May's announcement fears from the ECB. A few ghosts although have been saying the pound might slip a little back after last week's highs.

Ooooohh what a gambling game this all is :p
