    who knows mate  ?

no doubt it will have some reaction, but usually these things just turn into a damp squib...

EUR/GBP has just plumbed a fresh seven-week low three pips shy of 0.8800 (a noted support point) as the euro continues to suffer on the back of the Reuters-reported comment from Buba President Axel Weber that the ECB will
announce a package of "non-standard" policy measures in May. The next ECB meeting
    is on May 7.

    Sub-0.8800 bear targets include 0.8750, 0.8726 (Feb 24 low), 0.8637 (Feb 10
    low), 0.8600 and 0.8500.

March"s BRC retail sales monitor will be unveiled at midnight BST. Annualized
like-for-like UK retail sales fell by 1.8% in February, after rising 1.1% in
    January, according to the BRC.
