    I'd rather be watching CSI!
  • It's so windy here.

Going back to Man Bashing, I know it's old news....that was yesterday. But I wanted to share a poem !!! PAM AYERS to be exact. Yes it's about her HUSBAND, but can be any male OH, Dad, Grandad, Father etc...

I was thinking about it last night.....sad I know...but it was better than finding Fairy Gold/Sending Hatching Eggs and Feeding Zombies on Facebook.

    Enjoy...it's a bit old(but still relevent)

    (((Hugs)))anyone who needs it today

thank you to the gods - DS appears to be improved so far today - he ate a croissant with a tiny scraping of jam for breakie, and is a lot less clingy - now just very coldy.

I've actually managed to wash him and clean his teeth which he hasn't let us do since saturday, and also managed to do a bit of marking (only 3 exam papers but more than i expected) while he is playing, and rang the nursery to sort out letting them know when he might be back, and made myself a dentist appointment for april before baby.

so i might get some stuff done today with any luck. :j

aimee hi nice to see you

mrs pepperpot -welcome to our motley crue.

DVD stopped now, so best go and do entertainment duties again. ;)

(((Huge Hug))) for Maralum, I too, would move if you can. Contact the council and explain the situation see if they can move you and fast. And I would not let OH see DS till he was clean. It may be the incentive to get him to buck up his idea's. I have no sympathy for addicts and dealers, they don't care about anyone but themselves. They only deserve a second chance if they make the effort to get clean, and not just say they are trying, actually do it. I know people who have came through it so it's not impossible. Just very very hard.

Pigpen, I am in a big huff with you. I have bee working very hard, I even DID MY BEDROOM!!! Hah, but no dog biscuit for me eh? *waily-waily strops waily-waily* *throws yucky can-nip treats at you* :rotfl:

Right, I have a wisdom tooth coming through, I'm teathing so I can be moody and chew on a wooden spoon. Good thing, Anadin Extra send me hyper, so I have lots of energy.

Oh and I'm going over to see the new doggy later!!!!
  • no wonder your brood like time team pigpen - it reminds them of their toy pile!
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

aimee - i can do my own laces up...you don't know how excited i am!!! today i'm going to find a positive about everything.

maralum - hugs to you and son. you've got to protect him so i think you're being more than generous letting your ex see him at his mums. hugs again.

we've decided not to get an engineer in to do the heating at the moment. dh will keep trying to find the blockage. we spoke to an engineer who said the whole system needed flushing and even this might not sort the problem. can't afford that. on a plus note...think of what we'll save not using the heating. also, dh mended the emersion heater which has been broken for about 7 years.

oh, and if you see someone walking along the streets of cheshire with an oven glove on their hand it'll be me....my hand was cold and it's all i could get on to it. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Morning everyone
    Sneaking in again from work!
Maralum - huge hugs and positive wishes on there way to you.

Today's missions are to make Pollybears coffee cake whilst DH is watching DD1s school play, and level 2 on the job lists. Wish me luck!

The brownie accounts haven't been started yet (x3), I keep looking at them and then moving them around from tray to tray. I MUST GET A START!!

If I'm on here tonight before 10 - plant a large foot on my lazy bottom!!

Re weight loss - I need to ditch about half a stone, can I join in???

I also need to get training as I'm doing the race for life in June and at this rate DD1 (aged 9) is going to beat me by miles!!!

    Right - back to work!!

I was just thinking the same thing....

Aimee, welcome back :D yes, started it, not finished but have made a start (I opened it, wrote my name on a piece of paper, ummmed, oooooed and answered some easy bits )

Maralum, big hugs, I'm with pigpen, I think I'd probably move. Hopefully he'll sort himself out but that's not your worry. Keep those beautiful children and yourself safe. Hope little one is better soon. How's your partners new job going?

Mudbath, try a large sock, might be easier to get on.

Michelle, great to hear he is on the mend.

Well I haven't done a lot yet, DW filled, WM filled etc but not much else as it's bedroom day here and DP is still in bed...I think I might have to kick him out of bed soon as I am getting impatient. I would like to go into Sunderland so I can take some stuff back etc but need him to go with me or I'll get lost :o , so if he doesn't want to go it'll have to wait but to be honest it's ever so windy and I think probably a bad idea to wander round shops.
One day I might be more organised...........
