Engine Seizure Help

Never seen it light up once. I guess I could try testing by joining the two wires on the pressure switch to see if it brings the light on.
Many pressure switches are single (+) wire. Touch to block to test Pressure warning lamp. (touch to block before turning on ignition in case of sparking)This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -

Just thought, that would test the wiring but not the switch. I assume when the engine is first turned on there is no oil pressure hence why the light is supposed to come on then go out when oil pressure builds.0 -

Actually it is testing the switch. If the light comes on when the wire is put into contact with the block then by process of elimination the switch is duff.
Good news is they're usually under a tenner and you can change it yourself.0
