Whos going where?

I cant find a thread about who is going where?

So I decided to start one!

I have been offered a place at Portsmouth doing Social Work from Sep and as long as I pass my Access course then I will probably take it.
Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!

I have LOVED doing Access, my course is very well run and the college I go to has a good reputation. It is hard work tho, not only do you have to go to college but they give you home work too!
Things are really racing along right now and we have lots of important work under way, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I would recommend Access as a fantastic way of finding yourself and getting back into education. My Access course is in Social Policy.
Good luck with your choice I really believe its totally worth while.

I got offers From Sheffield Hallam, Kingston, South bank. Had an offer from Leicester DMU but they canceled the course I had sent of form to apply for similar course at DMU. I would like to go to SHU.
    Come on you Irons
  • I am doing a access course at the moment in Humanities and Social Science and I have about 9 or 10 weeks left. I applied to Manchester Met and Huddersfield to do History combined with English, and have been accepted at both (conditional places). I think I am going to choose Huddersfield, but am not 100% sure yet I have until May to decide anyway.

I have absolutely loved my access course, and although it has been hard to get back into the swing of education, I don't want to leave now :(

I'm currently doing an access course in computing and will be going to Bristol Uni this year. I was very surprised (and pleased) to get an offer from Bristol as they're ranked no.3 for computer science and I haven't got any A-levels, just this access course :D
  • Just finishing off a 2 year foundation degree in Business and Management at Newcastle College, and currently have my firm offer at Northumbria and Insurance at Nottingham Trent to do a final top-up year, just to bump me upto a BA.
