My new "reconditioned" phone also said Lifetime Timer of 0000:00. I was wondering whether it is possible that O2 reset this to zero when it's reconditioned?

Mine came today, box a bit squashed, but phone, charger and manual mint - everything looks new and lifetime timer says zero.

Locked to O2, but unlocked in minutes using the second link on the unlocking thread - top sticky.

I checked both phones last night and they each showed 0000:00, one was manufactured in 072004 and the other was 022005 so I would say they were probably brand new, can't find a mark on either phone or battery.

To put the counters to zero, all you have to do is go to the clear timers option and enter the security code 12345, so just because the counters are on 00000 doesn't mean it's never been used
