Domino Pizzas Customer Relations!

Came home from work last week to be greeted by 3 Dominos pizza staff handing out menus at my local station. Have to state here that I am a big girl, largely due to a disability of the spine which restricts my movement.
Having both hands full, politely declined, only to hear as I walked off the words "its always the fat ones like that who say no" and all 3 morons falling about laughing.
Ruined my evening, publicly humilated me, Im still seething about it now, and the manager thinks that they cant possibly have said it as they are such nice boys.
Grrrrrr. Die spotty pizza chav scum, die!

Firstly you tell the manager that you will inform your other friends you where insulted because of your size, and secondly you will have your friends and the local press outside their shop telling people about how dominoes pizzas insults over weight people.
That should get an apologyI'm not poor i'm just skint0 -
LOL excellent idea! Sadly, however, most overweight people do not want to draw attention to themselves, which is what made their behaviour so upsetting.
Im waiting for a reply to a letter I sent to their franchisee.0 -
My answer would be don't use Dominos..... they are flippin expensive, far too expensive and they aint that good, I use Pizza Hut much better.
The staff in my local Dominos are not very friendly either, kids ordered one, went to pick it up and wasn't ready. "what time did you say mate?" my answer....."forget it Mate!"
DWhat goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -
I wouldnt use them anyway - we have a Papa Johns near us which are lush, and also free with the voucher from the tabasco sauce offer in freebies!
This was why I was doubly annoyed, I wasnt even at their damn shop, I was coming home from work at the station and got insulted!

been there done that and got the t shirt.. im also a large person and on one occasion i had the same comment from a little idiot , normally just ignore them but this time he got my back up so to speak so i stop dead on the spot and turned round glared at him and said loudly .. i may be fat in your opionion but im not a spotty ugly snotty nosed little big mouth and i can go on a diet if i choose you little man have no chance of being good looking when you grow up.. i got a round of applause (which i didnt need to be honest) from the crowd around and he just stood there open mouthed.. im sure it didnt stop him commenting as i walked away but sure made me feel a million times better...
i also agree that larger people dont always want to draw attention to themselves but i would still tell the local paper but mabey ask that they dont mention you by name .. its been done before and mabey if nothing else shame dominios into a public apology to every overweight person. after all im sure a lot of there customers are over a size 10Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear

Thats great - I wish I had the gall. Trouble is, where I live (Essex is such a LOVELY place) even the toddlers carry knives, and you definately dont start answering the chavs back in the street if you value the paintwork on your car.
Im still waiting for a letter from the franchisee - in fact I may give them a call now and give them some more grief - watch this space!0 -
Letter from franchisee arrived this morning - here are the salient points :
"Paul Wheeler, who you allege to have made the remark, is one of my most valued, highly respected and longest serving employees, with an unblemished record of customer service. He has recently been promoted to Assistant Manager of the Grays branch. I am absolutely shocked and appalled that he could have behaved in such a way. When he returned to the store last Friday he was very upset about what he believes was a misunderstanding.
I have spoken at great length with Paul and Martin about the incident. They both fully understand the need to be polite to members of the public. Paul insists that the actual remark he made was that he thought it nice when people actually say "no thank you" when offered a menu, rather than ignoring them. As such, and without any further evidence, I am unable and unwilling to take any disciplinary action against him.
Paul wanted to call you to apologise personally, but Martin has informed me that you expressed quite clearly that you did not want this. Therefore, unless you write to me directly at the above address, expressing what action you would like me to take, I will consider the matter closed. "
What do you think people? Im still seething that the f***ers dont believe me !!!!!

its the usual thing your word against his... i would right back so as he doesnt think he has just brushed this under the carpet.. just let him know you have taken his comments on board but as to you there was no misunderstanding and that being overweight doensnt affect your hearing and you know perfectly well what you heard as so did a few other people around you etc.. Let him know that the customer relations between customer and shop are appalling but basically you end the letter telling him that the matter is now closed so that you get the final word and dont make that word a nice word lol...Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear

Im still hopping about this lol!

Try the local press - that normally gets things moving; I had a problem with my car purchased from my local dealer, and when it started rusting after a faulty repair job on the rear winscreen where they slit the paintwork, they refused to take responsibility for it. That all changed when I threated to take the story to the local paper.

Bad Public Relations is the worst thing for any company. Worse than any legal action as it hurts their business directly in the form of less business.0
