I was at the customer service desk at Tesco Extra in Swansea last night and there was a 5 foot high poster on the wall behind the customer service desk clearly stating (albeit at the bottom of the poster) that they promised to refund/replace ALL overcharged goods whether they're due to shelf edge errors OR labelling errors. It was also re-stated on a little framed 'price promise' poster on the desk. I wish i'd had a camera. So before you go up for a refund, check the walls for their price promise poster and point at it if they start to argue. (I have to say, i've never had any trouble at this Tesco's CS).

Tesco are getting unbelievablt bad in the CS area. Almost saying to us "we are the biggest, so go to hell". They are being way too complacent. I think Walmart/Asda will overtake them as #1 within the next 12 months.

I had course to vistit the CS in Bidston Moss last week and asked to speak to th estore manager. Get thhis - they said that they didn't have one! Unbelieveable! I had to settle for the manager of the electrical section!

Good time to flog one's Tesco stock methinks.

Overtake them on what measurement ? Tesco's market share is over 30% (according to Walmart /ASDA who are compaining to the Govt about it!) while ASDA is at 16%. The only way they can catch up is to take over either Sainsbury or Morrisons. Can't see that happening just yet.
    Not even wrong

They advertise over 18000 items in store If they only sold 846 items it would be great but how many items does ASDA sell cheaper than Tesco ?

    also petrol

    lea valley 91.9 (£50 shop) 5p off = 86.9 p
    ponders end 3/4 miles up the road 88.9 (£50 shop) 5p 0ff 83.9 :T

And how about those Tesco's own frozen meals with 3 @ £5 printed on the shelf and and 5 @ £4 printed of the box and last week they had toad in the holes with some boxes saying 4 @ £5 and others 4 @ £3.50

after yesterdays story in the Daily star there were no Birds eye beef or chicken meals under a pound left on the shelf but i bought 15 beef and 15 chicken curry meals no probs stay clear of the chicken tika is all sauce and little chicken
