I use a really weak solution actually - prob about 10% stardrops to 90% water. I use it on my melanine (sp??) surfaces and it makes them lovely and shiny...

Yes that's about the proportion I've always used and it, as you say, everything comes up really shiny.

A little Stardrops goes a verrrrrry long way :D
  • found it in tesco on saturday and as we are running low on cleaning stuff i got a bottle to try.

my question is - H tends to like cleaner in spray bottles [and he does quite a bit of cleaning which i like to encourage lol] and he is resistant to 'wierd stuff you find out about on the internet' so i was wondering if i washed out one of the mr muscle [or whatever] containers and filled it with diluted stardrops - that would do the same job and he wouldn't realise would he? I would tell him the truth once he was happy with the way it was working :rotfl:

do you think this would be ok?
:rotfl:five children? I must be mad........ :rotfl:

    It's what we do.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

    Sounds good to me!

New advert for Flash 'one for all' made me laugh - I bet it's just rebranded stardrops :rotfl:

Well my OH hasn't noticed the difference yet, there's an old Tesco bathroom stuff bottle in the bathroom & an old Mr Muscle bottle in the kitchen, both filled with diluted Stardrops!!

I recently bought a bottle of spray on
Stardrops cleaner from Home Bargains it
    cost 69p,brill stuff.You could always
buy one first use it up and then
refill it so he knows which bottle to
    use.

Put water into the old spray bottle nearly to the top and just add 2 tablespoons of Stardrops (I add 1 tablespoon of bleach for the bathroom). If you put the Stardrops in first then it becomes" foamy" and is hard to fill !!!
The White Stardrops with ammonia is particularly good for the cooker or any other area which gets greasy.

that spray bottle of stardrops I used is very strong
in its current form I would say if you had something
that was in need of major cleaning use it as it is.
I sprayed it on a wall with old wall paper on that had
never been cleaned for at least ten years,oh the muck
that came off and without damaging the paper, looked
new again when I finished.worth trying a small area
if anyones thinking of anything similar.Other wise tip 2/3
thirds of the contents into a spare bottle to store and
refill the spray bottle with water for regular spraying
    round the kitchen.
