ok so heres the thing.
just called up job centre and said that friend should have qualified for IB under youth rules and he said get a sick note from GP for the last 6 months.
the thing is GP will not give her a sick note saying he cannot give a backdated sick note. When i told job centre this he said GP is talking rubbish and that he should give it IF my friend has been sick.
My friend has been disabled since 2005 its all written in her hospital notes. I dont understand why her GP wont give her a backdated sick note.
If GP doesnt give her a sicknote then she will have to wait to have NI contributions stamped. Anyone know how long it will take for her to receive IB?
They said to carry on sending sick notes and have sent an IB50 form and asked for med 4 note.
Thanks
Lupie0
