BUT my bank account is overdrawn (because of their stupid charges) so ill probably end up putting it in my bank
Have you ever had to pay bills/debt with money youve recieved as a gift? Have you made a conscious decision to put any 'gift' money towards paying off your debt?
Sorry, don't think I read your question fully... yes, if you are overdrawn and going to incur charges then yes I probably would use birthday money to stop that happening.. then when back in the black, treat myself!!
Hope you had a good birthday regardless of what you did with your money. _party_0 -

Hope you had a good birthday regardless of what you did with your money. _party_Im overdrawn and going to be charged £20 regardless just for going overdrawn. (because they charged me £60, i had ooh 7p in there before that:rotfl: )
Anyway hip hip hooray my mum and stepdad are buying me a camera!'They only had one cow!'0 -
I say yes yes yes. My 30th birthday money bought me an NHS root canal (and also paid for the subsequent extraction as my tooth broke in half during the procedure).
Worth every penny to not have sore teeth, although it did make me feel very very old to be starting to lose my teeth :rotfl:

I used to pay my debts before I got my budget under control, I think it was during my semi lightbulb stage, I would pay some towards my OD, now everything is sorted and all on low LOB deals I can manage my budget a lot better.
Now as I do not ever buy myself new clothes or haircuts I spend my birthday money on that.
Happy birthday btw
