We are all there for the same rason.......true, some have more weight to lose than others, but usually the larger ones lose so well, that everyone is in awe of them. You would get so much praise from both the Consultant and the other members, your self-esteem would go through the roof
Please, please give it a go, I guarantee you'll be glad you took the plunge :j
As for your Aunt, ignore her, she must be an unhappy person to need to be so nasty to someone else. She is not your problem, she has to sort her own life out.
Just to add to this, there is someone in our group who weighed 22st when she started. A few months later she weighs 13st. No one said a word when she was 22st, but they say loads now!

Oh dear....I did so well, I lost 5lb in 4 weeks and then I went to London for a gig and had my 30th birthday and all the weight has gone back on with extra to boot! I dont see much point in trying until the New Year to lose again what with all the cakes etc and nights out there are going to be.
Is anyone else experiencing something similar to me?They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

I started Sw in March and lost 2 stone, then moved house and completely gave up and put 10lbs on, I wished i had at least stuck to the rough principles of SW ie red or green days even if i wasnt counting everything else, so it wouldnt have been so bad.
Id recommend trying sticking to the plan the best you can, and if your a little off during Dec ( i think most of us will) then you may only gain a few lbs, but if you go off plan alltogether and just go for it, you might gain 6-8lbs+
call it damage limitation. thats what ill be doing over xmas, trying to be as good as possible but if it goes a bit wrong then its only a couple of lbs rather than loads if I had not bothered following SW.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
I noticed a couple of people saying they had white bread for the first time in ages.. I normally have 2x milk roll (2 1/2 syns each) as my HEB should I only be having wholemeal?
I thought white bread was ok as long it was 2 1/2 syns a slice (400g loaf) i hope ive not been sabotaging myself for the sake of a wee bit of toast. Whats the best wholemeal you buy for toasting? I find the WW stuff dries up and is like eating air/cardboard:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
nic - white bread doesn't have enough fibre to be a HEb so no you shouldn't be having it except the Nimble white which I think they've added fibre to.
I only eat Nimble white (and not very often at that) so I can't advise you on the best I'm afraid.

I've lost the ability to make a cous cous cake that's edible! Tried again this weekend and it was a horrible rubbery brick.
I need some scan bran to try the brownies as they are lovely.
Yesterday went well. I poured a third glass of wine, but have just found it on the worktop. Evidently I wanted it so much I forgot it was there! So that's 12 syns for the day :TI saw two shooting stars last night
