    thank you all the replies

i have an evening group opposite my house, and i am going with mum who is disabled so this one is perfect.

i work funny hours and the daytime groups near me are too early or inconvient to get to (i don't drive!)

so, now i know the prices i have a few weeks to save, and i will start going as soon as i finish my current job

i am still nervous, i weigh A LOT!!!! and it is so overwhelming

klairbear please don't be embarrased about your weight. I was almost 30 stone when I started and it was the smartest thing I have ever done! You are starting a new life now with a new job and before you know it a new body too:D:j I have lost 8 stone so far!!!

    Love

I second that Marion. Someone in my group has lost more than 14 stone, and still has a long way to go. No-one judges, cos we're all embarrased about our weight and are there for the same reason.
    Anytime;)

Thanks consultant, and I second that the groups are fun, my SW consultant is also really nice, approachable, supportive and friendly. I have her email addy, mobile and home number, and she phones mid-week if you need support. I'm sure she's not the only one who does all that, or who is so nice.

Of course she's not..............I am too :rotfl:

Klairbear - the more you weigh, the faster the weight will come off and all the while, you'll be amazed at how much you can eat! Have you ever been to a slimming group before?

Consider your legs well and truly smacked!!

You may well be pleasantly surprised at what the scales say actually, but if not..........tomorrow is another day, draw a line under these couple of days and start again :)

  • Judds, fingers crossed for you. It's an awful time of year for people to be threatened with redundancy. Even if it doesn't happen, the stress of it is more than anyone needs. Oh and your pics are fab! I'm useless at taking pics, but love other people's.

klairbear, go for it. I am useless at diets (I have very little in the way of willpower)and I've lost weight (and kept it off so far). If I can do it, you can ;)
