Good luck

It's £10 to join too, though it's half-price just now (often is).

Your pictures are lovely Judderman, we have such a beautiful country dont we.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
it has it's moments aye
and much as I thought I'd hate it, I'm a nature fan to some extent, I actually love the windfarm - think it looks great and adds character to the countryside.
well weigh in tonight - by home scales I've put on about 4 lbsHate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing

hello all, i hope you don't mind if i intrude...
i want to start going to slimming world, and was wondering if anyone can tell me the joining and weekly costs
i have avoided accepting my weight issue for too long, but now is the time to start, however scary!!
and to make me feel positive, i went for a job interview last week and got the job, even though i was fretting i wouldn't get it because i was fat.
it was the confidence boost i needed to get me to look up my nearest sw and i hope to start when i start my new job (would love to start before then but i work evenings)
thanks in advance for your support x
As Jay said, it's £10 to join and £4.50 a week, but the offer has just changed to 'first week free' so you would have to pay £10 on your first night and £4.50 every other week. It is called a Countdown, where you pay for 5 classes up front and get vouchers for 6 (alternatively you can pay for 10 weeks up front and get 12 (ie 2 free weeks). It's an excellent way of confirming your committment to following Food Optimising for the longer term.
Congratulations on getting the job you want, I'm sure that losing weight will give you all the confidence you could ever need. It's so easy with SW - you get loads to eat and it's 'real' food, not the rabbit food you've come to expect from a diet.
The groups, for the most part, are fun and far from scary. Also you may well find a daytime group nearby which would be easier for you to attend. If you go to www.slimmingworld.com and click on the site map you'll find a place where you can input your postcode and get the nearest 10 groups. You'll also find a free 7 day menu pln which may help get you started.
Good luck - it's all very exciting :jI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Huh, if I'd eaten what you ate I'd put on 4 stone............it's not fair:(
Just looked at your photos. It looks so peaceful there and I love wind turbines - can't understand people who say they're ugly!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Thanks consultant, and I second that the groups are fun, my SW consultant is also really nice, approachable, supportive and friendly. I have her email addy, mobile and home number, and she phones mid-week if you need support. I'm sure she's not the only one who does all that, or who is so nice.Anytime;)0

thank you all the replies
i have an evening group opposite my house, and i am going with mum who is disabled so this one is perfect.
i work funny hours and the daytime groups near me are too early or inconvient to get to (i don't drive!)
so, now i know the prices i have a few weeks to save, and i will start going as soon as i finish my current job
i am still nervous, i weigh A LOT!!!! and it is so overwhelmingpractice makes perfect...but nobody is perfect so i suppose i will keep practicing
