Often, when time is tight and I have nothing in for lunch I grab a tin of baked beans (green day). Am I the only one who loves cold baked beans straight from the tin???
They are sweet too and filling. I also love cold baked beans with a salad mix, say eggs, cheese etc.

Larmy, i love cold baked beans too - my DH can't watch me eat them straight from the tin but it saves on washing up!
I'm having a green day today, stirfry for lunch and ratatouille and couscous for dinner. Tried to have some chipolatas as a HEB but they were horrid so my DD ate them. I've also eaten a lot of fruit.
Beccabee, I have been thinking about triggers. Boredom - or at least a pause in activity - is a big one for me, and also having run ins with the kids leaves me reaching for the biscuits. I also tend to eat if I am up late which I have been doing mmore of recently because my DH is working away. I need to do a diary and really watch what I'm eating (and drinking).

Good weight loses from some people - that's really encouraging for the rest of us too!

I weighed in and I have lost 6.5 lbs this week, 1/2 lb lower than my target!

I started on 21st January and I have lost a total of 1 st 10 1/2 lbs. Yippeeee!!!

I've come home and had a mullerlight and a banana to celebrate:rotfl:

I just want to say thanks to everyone on here who's encouraged me. It's been really motivating to read this thread and there have been so many good ideas, and particularly for getting me through this last week on Fast Forward. It has really helped me to post on here each day. I've given myself a little pat on the back by recording my success at the end of each day and that's so important.

I have been wondering about whether I will end up gaining a lot next week after doing this, but my consultant said I shouldn't, as long as I food optimise 100%. That may end up being more challenging than the Fast Forward, as you tend to relax when you've reached a goal. So I will have to be very careful until my body settles down again. So I'll be reading carefully, looking for more good ideas!

    Hi Guys,
I'm not sure how I'll have done this week. My shifts have been all over the place, with some very early starts and some later finishes than normal. Although in general I don't think I've been too bad.
I made the pizza recipe from the current mag last night, I found the base a little soggy but that may have just been the way I made it.
Anyhoo, I used the leftover pizza from last night for my lunch today at work and it was really nice just on a bed of raw spinach. So I think I'll do that again. The pizza went down well with the OH too. Which is always good!
