Ok Welshnutta, as long as it's firm;) can't bear to be beaten with limp celery:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Did you try the quark and Helmann's Ness?
Hi gpuss, yes I did, I completely forgot to tell you, it is absolutely gorgeous, thanks for that, lovely with SW chips and fish fingers (my favourite meal in the whole wide world, after curry of course)
I have got my weigh in tonight and I think I may have another sts judging by the home scales.
But I am not too worried about it, I am just waiting for a blood test result as it looks like my thyroid is playing up again, may have to up the dose of thyroxine, so if I don't put on it will be good enough
for me

Mornin all
Well done all the losers:T and to Catt, after 3 weeks off and a holiday, that's really great going chick:T
My weigh-in tomorrow, so time to reveal what I had at the Italian on Friday. I should have gone for the melon starter and pasta in tomato sauce, but what I did go for was creamy garlic mushrooms:eek:, cheesy garlic bread:eek: and chicken pasta in cream sauce:eek::eek:and countless brandy and diet cokes, and then on Saturday I went to a concert and everyone ended up in McDonalds (had a chicken burger):eek: (You can beat on the bottom with a raw carrot stick if you like) :rotfl::rotfl:That would normally have been a cue for me to abandon the plan and go on a week-long binge, but I don't do that anymore:rolleyes:. I've got straight back into it with loads of speed foods and drinks and I actually feel a bit thinner these last few days. Tomorrow will reveal all
Hope you all have a good day xxxx

They asked me at class what my secret was, and I don't really know!!! But this is what I said:
(1) I just make sure I write absolutely everything down, (my Consultant only gave me 4 Food Diary sheets and looked at me as if I was mad when I asked her for more so I just did my own on MS Excel!!). I keep my Food Diary near me all the time, I take it out if I go out, so I always know where I stand!
(2) I've gone through all the jars, packets, tins etc in my fridge & freezer, looked up or worked out their Syn value and written it on the packaging with marker pen. So, when I want something I can see at a glance which is the best to have. I have found this especially useful!
(2) I eat a lot of salad, and instead of using up Syns on salad creams and salad dressings, I just use good old fashioned vinegar - it is lovely!!
(3) I usually get peckish between 5pm and 6pm (used to be the time the biscuits, or cake, or cheese came out) so I now have either 3 x Ryvita (HEB) with my Laughing Cow cheese (HEA), or a bowl of fresh berries (usually strawberries, raspberries or blueberries - or all 3
) with a Vanilla Muller light, and that sees off the hunger pangs until hubby gets home between 7 and 8 and we heat then!
ETA: Oh, and of course, Peachey's great tip - DIET TONIC WATER!!! It is a lovely drink, and I've also got Asda's Diet Bitter Cranberry which I mix 50:50 with the tonic as I find it too sweet on its own - and it's FREE!!!!!! I used to drink a lot of wine, and to tell the truth when I had a glass at my Virgin Vie party 2 weeks ago I didn't really enjoy iy and just thought 'What a waste of 6 Syns' so I've not had any since!!!We’ve had to remove your signature. Exactly what I think Peachey. You have to be able to do normal life things like this, but the trick is to stay in control and know you can go back to the plan straightaway. I think if you deny yourself completely you are more likely to put it all back on again at a later stage (done that before:o)
And as for you, Peachey mate, you are at target:T and can afford to indulge a bit anyway. I hope your friend is cheered up a bit and lucky she has someone caring like you around:A:A:A xxx:smileyheagpuss0 -

She asked to drop one of her nights and he said no  , because they can't get someone to just do one night , so she put in for a transfer:mad: .
I told her that i'm willing to pick up her night , that way she can stay , that i don't want to ,but if that means she can stay were she is ( better the devil you know) and she's coming up to retirering in the next few years and her jobs the only company shes got .0 -
tobys_mummy wrote: »does anyone know why lemon and lime juice is free when all other fruits have to be synned if juiced.
also is grated orange zest free?
As far as I'm aware the only difference is that you're lilkely to drink a glass full of orange juice, pineapple juice, strawberry juice or any other sweet fruit juice, but highly unlikely to have more than a few mls of lime or lemon juice and probably then only if mixed with water or soda.
Grated zest would be syn-free.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
