Basic question I know, but how do I know if my son's Samsung mobile is locked to Vodafone or not?

Hi, If you take the Vodafone sim card out and put another Networks in it and turn it on then it might say enter unlock code, or phone is restricted, that means the phone will be locked to vodafone, if it accepts another sim card and you can make calls etc, then the phone will be unlocked,
  • Hi, I have an old Samsung H1 (also known as GT-I8320) locked to vodafone. Are there any free ways to unlock it?

If not, then I'd be interested to know how the 'pros' would do it. What could be so difficult about this task?

Sorry, not for free. Pro unlocker would use hardware & cables, so it would be cheaper to pay about £5/10 to unlock it.

    Hi dave2343,

You can request this from us online.

Unfortunately, I can't link you to the form due to the posting guidelines which company representatives are required to follow.

However, if you do a web search for 'Vodafone unlocking' it should be the top result.

    Thanks,

Sorry there is no free way to unlock it. Contact a pro unlocker, but it will cost about £100
