I have searched high and low on the internet and cannot find an answer to my question - so apologies if this has repeated something someone has previously asked! (113 pages too long to sift through individually - a quick forum search has not produced anything)
I have an iphone 3gs which I want to give to my cousin. the phone is an o2 phone, and my cousin's sim is also o2. However, I've heard that I might have to get the phone unlocked anyway, something to do with apple's technology. Is this true or can I just give her the phone and it will work?
I'm be grateful for any help given!0 -

You can unlock it if you want for free (o2 does that for all pay monthly customers) but you do not have to.0 -
Hi
Unfortunately my phone screen completely broke last night so I'm looking to get a replacement as had no insurance and still plenty of time left on my contract.
On amazon, I see used - like new S3 for £220 but it says locked to Vodafone. I'm on Orange so was wondering how easy to you think it would be to unlock? Or would it be better to pay the extra for an unlocked one?
Thanks in advance0 -
Try craigslist, lots of great deals there.0
