Can somebody help me to unlock an Alcatel One Touch Mini locked into Virgin Mobile
    Thanks.

Notice that this user found a solution? I have tried two different online code providers and neither can do it. Any one got any ideas?

tried the .com website "sim-unlocking" (cant post links on here yet) and the code didnt work.. but it only cost £3.59. I immediately contacted them and they said they would refund and it would take 5 days... after 2 weeks I hadnt received anything back (I used paypal) so went to raise a issue with them, but on the paypal site the merchant had put a link to an immediate refund page so I did get my money back so it is worth doing if only for a couple of pounds.
Eventually went to the co.UK website "fonezone" and I got an unlock code for my Samsung i600 back within a day (It did say it could take up to 3 days) and it cost me about £13. When you go through the details for the phone it will tall you how much it will cost before purchasong and at the end gives a discount of 10% on any future unlocked phones.

    Sorry, as post 2005
  • Its as bad as the hundreds of cash your gold adverts, there are now thousands of scamming websites out there wanting to rip you off yet again, except this time its relating to your mobile phone, and arguably its worse as you are paying £20+ for nothing but some characters to enter into your phone, to let you use it freely. Something you should be already able to do. Its locked of course, to try and make sure you never switch network-ie keep giving your network money, not being able to change network when restarting or ending a contract. Its ridiculous. Im sure most people on here will now know to try and avoid buying any mobile, contract and payg, if its on a network that has a habit of locking their phones. The only one I know that do this, from experience, is orange uk. ps any advertising on this thread, however minimal, about their brand new unlocking website (that coincidentally has just joined up to this forum) should be ignored or read with caution-as polite and genuine sounding they may be, its highly likely they are not, and what is essentially free advertising on a well read website will probably not go down too well :) if any regulars do know of any trustworthy unlocking websites however, that would be of far more use-ive been finding it hard to find any at all with constant good reviews, with the majority letting down customers (letting you choose your model of phone, then to be told after paying and waiting a few days, that they dont support it, and will merely convert your purchase into credit to a future purchase.. (useless) or forward you on to another website :( at the moment I dont think its worth taking the chance with any websites at all. your better getting a store/repair shop to unlock it for you, but only if your phone is a non budget model, as they may charge around £20 or more. If your phone was bought for around £20, you might just be better buying a new phone that is already unlocked out of the box
