Anyone know why I'm not being prompted to enter the unlock code after putting another networks sim into my htc desire? I have the unlock code from tmobile and have put a virgin sim in it and switched it back on, it's saying emergency calls only but not asking for the code?

Hi, am hoping James-73 (or anyone else with seemingly encyclopeadic knowledge of unlocking!) is reading this as he supplied codes for a fellow 8320 owner in April 2010.

I have a BB8320 with details as follows:
Orange
IMEI: 358281.01.700647.3

You suggested to Katel 2847 that the following might work:

I haven't got an alternative SIM to try at the moment but have ordered one from giffgaff, do you think these codes will work for me too?

Hi, giffgaff SIM arrived today (impressive, only ordered y'day!), tried codes stated above with no luck, just 4 goes left! Any ideas anyone?

Unfortunately I tried to change the from a t-mobile payg to a t-mobile contract sim but it has locked the sim. I have tried with the original one but that is locking also! If no one knows it could anyone advise of where I could buy it? My daughter has Aspergers and won't be happy going to school tomorrow without her phone, bad Mum for messing with it lol!
