Considering iPhones take up at least 15% of the market, and they can all be unlocked for free, I think that statistic is at best mildly misleading.

If you attempt to unlock it and don't know what you're doing, you'll brick the phone, but if you do enough research then you stand a decent chance...

took mine to 2 local unlocking stores and neither could do the x8 tried to get o2 to do it but they say the phone needs to be 12 months old..

Been to my local phone shop and they can't unlock this W995 as CID81 is the newer software which they couldn't do.

Searched Google and only come up with setools that seem to do the CID81.

Trouble is it requires 6 credits to do but you can only buy a minimum of 30 credits at £54.

Anyone help or point me in the right direction? :beer:
