i need it on the tesco network, and they don't have the silver one, only black.

so if i buy it can it be unlocked with a code, or would i have to take it to a shop

Hi, i am posting a new thread as there does not seem to be much movement on the unlocking threads.

I have found sites that can unlock the above phone for a couple of pounds and i just wanted to check they would work. If anyone here knows how to do it for free, then great, but i don't mind paying if i know it will work.

how do i unlock a sony ericsson K800i from Vodafone to use my O2 sim card in it? I am without a car at the moment so cant pop to the local market/phone shop to have it done, anyone know of any other ways to do it? Think someone on here done it once?
