Thanks that's very good of you.

I was getting really fed up with this. Originally my post was moved here and with it being such a big board I'm now getting swamped with replies that had nothing to do with me.

  • Can anyone help with Samsung L810V?

Tried everywhere, I use Blyk but handset locked to Voda.
  • Hi. I have seen sites on the internet that can get you codes for unlocking a blackberry bold. The problem is, you have to pay...Is there a way of unlocking them for free? I have the handset on Vodaphone but the signal is so bad in my area i would love to go back to O2.

    Thanks.

Sorry, but I couldn't find this phone mentioned anywhere, may have been a bit blind though.
It's locked to Orange but I'm on O2.
    The IMEI is 351872/02/067600/0.

Does anyone know if this phone does actually have an unlock code or is it a shop job?

PM me please if you need to.[/quote]

Have you managed to get this phone unlocked? I also need to get a Tocco unlocked to use in Italy for the next year. It's on Orange on a new contract and Orange have said that Samsung will not let them unlock for 3 months! Is this true?? Can anyone help??
  • Hi, not new to this site but new to posting

I've bought a motorola V3 from a reputable ebay seller who said it was unlocked. Now it turns out it isn't. The seller said when I contacted her that it was on the Virgin network but her daughter had also used it with a T-mobile simcard. I have tried to get an unlock code myself on the net but with no luck, even with the IMEI number. How do I find out if there is an unlocking shop in my town (small market town of Dorchester in Dorset)? I did think about sending the phone back for a refund but to be honest my daughter is so pleased I don't really want to.

If anyone can offer any suggestions I would be really grateful.

You could ask Orange for the unlock code, see what they say.

Would they willingly give me the code?

I got an LG phone from Tesco unlocked by the people in a shop near where I live for 10 or 20 quid - can't remember which. The shop seemed a bit dodgy but it took two days - cos they were busy - and the phone works great. No worries at all with it. Don't know if you want the hassle of going through Orange who may or may not say yes. Most people I know who've had phones unlocked have no worries about it. Hope that's helpful. D x
