That's the only thing I'm worried about! I sent them an email about it and they said they try and do their best to get pre-orders with customers for the release date. Fingers crossed!
  • just got the kids one in singapore they are stoked to have it before all their friends!!
  • Looks like argos.co.uk are giving £100 vouchers with every preorder of psp at £179.99

I am thinking of getting the psp when its out what should i do try and get one on the day its out, reserve one or get one when away on my holidays.
I am going away to the usa on the 2nd sept and not sure if to buy one before i go to take with me or just to get one so i have one when i come back or get one when over there.
But are the down sides of getting one when over there compared to a uk one im pretty sure the saving on the usa one will be cheaper?
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.

How much are they in Singapore?

THe only thing I'd say about buying one for US now would be that as well as havign to get a stepdown/up transformer to charge it, the sell on value should you ever come to sell it will be substantially lower than for the UK one. So I'd imagine the overall costs would be quite even over time (also you would also only be able to use USA Region 1 UMD Videos).

WHile most places will be 'sold out' at first, I've got a feeling that it won't be too long before you can buy them again. I think it's more of a sales ploy and they will have second batches within a couple of weeks of 1st Sep.

Not quite true, the power supply charger can accept US/UK voltages so all you need is a power cable from the charger to the socket (available from Maplins for a few quid).
