Hi,
I need to get some more cigarettes. I can get a return on saturday to frankfurt hahn quite cheap and i work out that i will have 2 hours to pick up some ciggies and be back home for lunch.
Has anyone been to this airport and can anyone confirm that they have a cigarette shop there as i dont want to venture away from the airport.
Thanks

Haven't been since about 1990 but the airport web-site shows that there is a duty free shop selling ciggies.
B&H are 26.50 Euro for 2000 -
is that a duty free price for travellers leaving the EU ? i wasn't aware that germany was a country to go to for cheap tobacco0

I used to get Golden Virginia when I used to travel to Germany regularly, it was about one third of the UK price in Germany. To bring back unlimited quantities you have to buy it "tax paid", it is usually better to get it in the High Street rather than at the airport.
The airports tend to have a limited range of ciggies and baccy.0 -

You'd need to travel away from the airport - there is very little there.0 -

Actually, you NEED to stop smoking. If you choose to continue smoking, that is not a need. And if you choose to live in a manner that will damage your health, then you should not be seeking to dodge the tax that will help to fund the health-care that you are going to need. Least of all by flying, adding to pollution and global warming.0 -
